In Norse mythology, Valhalla is a majestic, enormous hall located in Asgard, ruled over by the god Odin. In this great hall in Norse mythology it is where heroes slain in battle are received. Every night in this hall their wounds would heal and they would feast on meats and drink mead. In Valhalla mead was drank from drinking horns of all shapes and sizes. Whatever your fancy it was available. This tumbler is made from all natural horn and stained yellow which has an ombre effect down to the color red. It has been hand carved and hand polished. The flat bottom is made from stained wood. The inside is coated with a food grade sealant. If you are looking for an old world feel but with new world flair this cup is form you. Purchase several to complete table settings. Overall Length: 5 to 7 Inches. Estimated Capacity: 10-14 oz. Please not there may be a slight odor as this is a natural item. The color and shape may vary and may not be exactly like the picture. This is an all-natural item and you may need to coat inside with beeswax again. In order to do this you will melt the beeswax and pour it in the horn. Wait for it to dry and then pull it out. Please wash with a gentle detergent and polish with vegetable oil to keep it from drying out. And from time to time you will want to use beeswax. The variations in their shapes and colors can only be made by nature; thus a horn may have natural blemishes which will not affect its functionality but does verify its authenticity.
