I gave it a three because the problem is putting in the threads for the spikes. There some that wouldn't go in due to the size of the holes. Some spikes broke off the nut that goes to the thread.

Looks good, crafted poorly The mace looks good, and since it is intended as a wall piece, that's probably all that matters. It's a hollow tube and ball, making it pretty lightweight. The spikes are quite sharp, and removable. They screw into place, although two of them had stripped threads and two of the holes were not properly drilled, so you may have to do some repair work upon receiving this item. I bought two, and they each had the same issue, in different places. But, it's pretty inexpensive, and once it's mounted, you can't tell.

So Beautiful They Took That too... This piece was a birthday present from me to me and I can say it was my favorite! Once Assembled this piece is a great addition to any collection. Apparently it looks impressive too-burglars decided to steal it when I was broken into. Great product!

Out of all the medieval weapons I have in my collection this is by far the one that gets the most attention. Almost everyone has some reaction to it. If your looking for a great conversation piece you just found it.

Poor Welding on Spiked Ball I got this marvelous looking mace, but when I tried it on an object it bent. I swung it at a foam object the entire thing bent. It is really nice as a decorative or collectors piece, but not for actual use.
